There are times when you just don’t know what you want to eat or what to do. It’s as if you’re trying to find something that is not in the menu of any restaurant. Or maybe it’s just something you do not realize that is there that you want, until you try it. While walking around you may notice people selling street foods. Street food seem to be available almost everywhere that and able to fill your appetite. It’s also so affordable that there will still be much left for spending somewhere else. We are so used to our lifestyles that eating street food and strolling around the park can be so relieving and enjoyable. It’s walking around without any worries and just hanging around. You can also hang around with some friends or even with someone special giving you time to talk to each other and just enjoy the scenery.

Clamps

Having catering services can be hard at times. Tables and chairs should be supplied aside from the meal. There should also be some decoration on them to suit the party or make it more formal. It may also become necessary to bring extra supplies, clamps and especially carts in case you need to fasten or make a long table out of the shorter ones or bring the food and other stuff to where the party will be held. Of course after setting up and serving the food, there is the matter of packing away and bringing the stuff back to the restaurant or office.

Curious Monkey

Posted by admin On January - 9 - 2009 ADD COMMENTS

Just watched another toon film about a curious, little monkey. He followed an archaeologist to town to play hide and seek. It kind of got me and my friends’ attention seeing the cute, little monkey and what he was doing to find his friend around the city. I’m quite sure that kids will like the film. It’s a comedy with no adult humor.

Super Dog

Posted by admin On November - 29 - 2008 ADD COMMENTS

Just went to a movie with some kids. Actually, it’s one kid and several aunties. She wanted to see this movie about a little dog that had super powers. Or he thought he had super powers. The staff of the network that handles his series made the little dog believe that his body has been altered to become indestructible.

It was quite entertaining and comical. Watching the trailers beforehand made me think it will be enjoyed by little kids and even adults. Of course you won’t be just waltzing in that movie without a little boy or girl with you. I guess that’s why all of the adults there come with their kids to give them some time and enjoyment. It’s also an excuse to also be able to watch the movie themselves. It’s so much fun being a kid again.

Reveler of ‘The Secret’

Posted by admin On November - 24 - 2008 ADD COMMENTS

All secrets aren’t kept for long.

And I revel for it.

Someone said ‘ignorance is a bliss..’tis folly to be wise.’ Whoever said that must have been a genius. So genius he’s naive.

Sufferings and trials are inevitable, some inexorable- they’re like a wretched clutter lurking in one’s mind. They exhaust you to some stark terror and tempting form of depression.  ’The Secret’ by Rhonda Byrne makes us realize that the mind is its own place. From the intellect everything begins and ends- from your creation of your own paradise or Hades. It’s your choice. Our mind acquires an unbelievable capacity and potential to determine the sum total of what we are at the moment, and become what we aspire to be. Procrastination is always a struggle in vain.

‘The Secret’ also suggests that our mind almost always randomly dwells from one thought to another, and there are thoughts that we repeat to the point that they become a subconscious habit with a wellspring of the actual and concrete things  one experience and acquire.

Though still recovering from being used to meditating such contemplations, I started filtering my own thoughts and it satiates to feel that you are in control of your mind processes. ‘The Secret’ is not just about positivity boboos, it may not give a definite resolution-no, not really a moment of truth- but it sure is your consequential ally.  It renews one’s mind and ditches the notion that you are utterly weak when you can summon limitless posibilities for your own happiness, success, and all the pleasant things you so badly want and desire.

Woe to Toxicity (Melamine Scare et al.)

Posted by admin On October - 8 - 2008 ADD COMMENTS

Everybody seems to go ballistic because of a scare over melamine. The melamine-contaminated milk scandal has  rocked many parts of the world as well. And just recently, public health officials discovered melamine not just in milk but in instant coffee, milk tea, and other products that contain non-dairy creamer.  This has lead the government to collect samples of products in the market for testing and meeting retailers and coming out of lists of products positive of melamine contamination. In the light of the melamine scare worldwide, is our government handling the situation all too well? Or are we dealing it too slow and too conservative?

Melamine is just one of the contaminated foods that has flooded our country over the last decades.  This one has just taken a lot of attention because of its worlwide effect.  But in our country, a lot of reported toxic products have sprawled to our people.  A review of the country’s trade policies should be taken into consideration to ensure food safety. The trade policies and our system of importing of food products (which oftentimes disregard food safety) should be revamped. And as for me, woe to the food products from China for the time being.

Equality Among the Eyebrows

Posted by admin On July - 26 - 2008 ADD COMMENTS

What can men do that women cannot? Equality is now the ‘in’ thing, so goes with the tweezers. Unwanted hair, especially unruly eyebrows is as obvious as any part of your body, so they should look as well groomed as the rest of you. Rubis is just the perfect mate in doing the job for you. With its superior craftsmanship and fine quality, you’d be thrilled to pluck the next littlest hair pluck-able. Women ofcourse, have mastered the art of taming stray eyebrows, but a number of men are also trying this tool especially for those who have way too much hair on their face. When it may seem not so macho for guys to do the tweezers, a bit of plucking that is not too defined can really do wonders. Next thing you know, plucking is the next bonding activity you’ll have with your sweetie.

Out of the stone age

Posted by admin On March - 28 - 2008 ADD COMMENTS

Computers have been present since I can remember.  They say it started out as a calculating device.  Does that mean a calculator is also a computer? In essence, both of them compute and they both started from the abacus.  I guess right now the computer has evolved in many ways.  I guess that’s why they made the term calculator for the simple calculating device.  The computer does not only compute but the better term is they process.  To us they process information using logic.  We give them raw data and they give us processed information.

Computers are present in our day to day lives.  Companies, governments, factories and even households have them.  Many can’t live without computers.  I wonder what will truly happen if the computers suddenly stopped working? A major disaster that will affect all of us I guess.  Do we really go back to the Stone Age when that happens?

Even food is processed with the use of computers.  Raw ingredients are transformed into food.  Many do not have time to cook or prepare food from raw ingredients.  Computers allow the automation of machines that peels the potatoes or skins the peaches.  The taste is not that bad but a lot of nutrition is lost though.  It is still better to eat cooked or prepared food.  Processed food usually has preservatives but micro organisms and toxins are already removed.  Do they add taste to the food?  Food Processing also allows food to be taken on long trips because it takes longer for them to perish.
