Most of the time people look at the environment or the ambiance of a restaurant before eating. If they are looking to eat at somewhere romantic, they would choose an appropriate location where to eat. Wouldn’t it have more impact if a restaurant would have a little garden or maybe a small fountain or a small pond? It would make it look a bit more serene and would be able to set the mood. The people may want to eat beside the pond and look at the flowing water which of course are kept flowing by pond pumps. Or it could be they will be eating near a small fountain. Having a fountain or small pond would also make the place a bit cooler which may be more attractive for possible customers.

We always try to find a good deal when it comes to buying some stuff. We try to find the lowest price for a computer that we like or for a gadget or even for a gaming system. Sometimes we even pass a store or a online dealer and look for the deal of the day. It is usually a good buy or a good deal and there are times that the item is just what we want or need. We save up on the new item and sometimes get a new idea for a gift to someone. Sometimes we just don’t realize that we can use something until the time we see it on sale.

Sometimes I have wondered what people may have donated to a hospital or to a clinic. What are those things that they need? What if someone wants to donate directly to a clinic or to a hospital but does not want to just give out money? I guess the best thing to give to them are medical equipment. Even a small electronic thermometer, portable aspirator or a treatment table would really help them with treating other people. Every clinic or hospital would need equipment to help diagnose and cure others. A little donation would go a long way.

There may be a gamer in every one of us. Of course most of us feel that games are just for kids and game consoles are just kids stuff. But sometimes it does not hurt to try out some of these games. How about trying the XBox. It has lots of different types of games to choose from. Who knows, it might just be somewhat therapeutic for stressed out people. My sister just got her laptop and was planning to connect to the internet at home. We have DSL but it’s already connected to my computer. At first we planned on just using a hub or a router so both of us can connect at the same time. But that would mean another wire to be added to accommodate her laptop. Also, my other sister sometimes brings her work at home. We finally decided on a wireless router to accommodate my desktop computer and a couple of laptops. This was much more convenient for them because now they can connect and do their work even when they are in their bedroom. They can even move their laptop anywhere in the house if needed without the problem of moving wires.

I remember when the personal computers were using the old floppy drives. The computer did not have its own storage device yet and had to use a floppy disk in order to boot into the Disk Operating System (DOS). They also used the floppy disks for their electronic files like documents and games and other stuff. At that time, they had boxes of floppy disks with different files in them. One floppy disk can only save 1.2 MB worth of files. Now it’s different. We have the memory stick which is very convenient because you have at least 32 MB of memory in a little stick. Beats having a box of floppies as big as a regular filofax. You can easily put the stick in your pocket.
